Kirby Kelley, ATC/OTC
Kirby was born and raised in Marietta, Ga. She received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at Georgia College & State University and Masters of Arts at The University of Alabama. While in Tuscaloosa, she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the University’s Cheer and Dance teams, as well as the Crimson Tide’s football program and Olympic teams. She has been active in the community by providing outreach athletic training at local high schools and events. After graduating from The University of Alabama, she began working at Andrews Sports Medicine as Dr. Lyle Cain’s surgical coordinator. Upon adding Dr. Ryan to Andrews Sports Medicine, she began as his clinical and surgical coordinator and first assist. Kirby quarterbacks the Ryan team and takes great pride in and loves providing excellent patient care to facilitate patients’ return to painless full function for all desired endeavors. Kirby is excellent at providing all necessary information during your visit, obtaining additional imaging, scheduling and planning for surgery, and providing exceptional customer service. She’ll work tirelessly to make sure your experience with Dr. Ryan and his team is efficient, seamless and enjoyable. Outside of work Kirby and her husband Grant have a curly-haired, adventurous toddler named Joanna who loves to chase their dog Lily.
Hannah Holloway, ATC
Hannah is a Certified Athletic Trainer and recent graduate of Samford University. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training. Prior to that, she received her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in exercise science. Before joining Andrews Sports Medicine, she worked as an Exercise specialist at St. Vincent One Nineteen. Hannah is also a STOTT trained Pilates instructor and enjoys using her education to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle. She has found her love and passion for working in sports medicine after undergoing hip surgery while participating in gymnastics, volleyball, and diving. Hannah was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She is the daughter of Richard and Melinda Holloway and has two brothers Rick and Mike Holloway. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys working out and spending time with her dog, Lucy, and soon to be husband, Duncan Harrity. She is honored to be part of the Ryan team.
Anna Medley, PA-C, ATC, LAT
Anna is originally from Athens, Alabama, where she was raised by her parents, Dennis and Laura Black. She, with her younger brother, Witt, spent her childhood and adolescence attending school where both her parents worked, playing sports, and helping on the family’s farm. After high school, Anna attended the University of Alabama where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. After graduation from UA, she spent a year working as an athletic trainer and completing additional prerequisite courses before matriculating into the University of Alabama at Birmingham Physician Assistant Studies Program in 2017. During her clinical year, Anna had the opportunity to train for a month with Dr. Michael Ryan. She graduated from UAB in December 2019 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and officially joined the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in February 2020 as a member of Dr. Ryan’s team. Sports medicine and orthopaedics have been Anna’s passion for years, beginning during her time as a high school athlete and continuing through her undergraduate athletic training studies to present day as a physician assistant. She could not be more excited to continue serving patients and athletes, both as a PA and an ATC.
When she is not at work, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Cade, and their two dogs, Lottie and Kylo. She also values a healthy lifestyle and is an avid Iron Tribe member and runner.
